Funding Available to Support Smoke/Tobacco-Free Policy Compliance on College Campuses

CYAN is pleased to provide funding for smoke/tobacco-free policy compliance activities on California college and university campuses.  Campuses who have been 100% smoke or tobacco-free for at least one academic year are eligible to apply.  Funding is available to support compliance activities during the 2018-2019 academic year. CYAN will fund 15 college/university campuses for up to $5,000 per location.

Completed applications are due by June 30, 2018.  Colleges are strongly encouraged to review all available materials prior to submitting an application.

To apply, please complete the following steps:

Step One:

Read the Policy Compliance Intervention - Funding Guideline.

Step Two:

Review the sample Budget Template and Application Packet before moving on to Step Three. Please note, the online application has logic built in based on the intervention a campus selects to implement.  If using the PDF application available on the website as a tool for writing your proposal, please disregard page 2 if you qualify for funding and only answer the questions that pertain to the intervention you have selected (e.g., Policy Ambassadors, Signage, etc.) on pages 6-9.

If you are applying for an Ambassador Program or Policy Promotion and Integration Program, make sure you also review the toolkits before moving forward.

Step Three:

Complete this Online Application Form.
