This hour-long webinar will provide a summary of findings from the 2018 California College & University Smoke/Tobacco-Free Policy Report Card; highlighting progress made this past academic year, as well as gaps that still exist. Additionally, CYAN staff will provide an overview and answer questions about the new 100% smoke and tobacco-free resolution that was adopted by the Board of Governors on May 14th. Finally, guest speakers from the American Cancer Society and the Truth Initiative will provide a brief overview and answer questions regarding new funding opportunities that are now available. Funding is available for campuses in all stages of policy development. So whether you’re on a campus that is 100% smoke and tobacco-free or not, tune in to this webinar to find out what grants you qualify for and how this money can address tobacco issues from increasing policy compliance to getting a new policy adopted.
